The Avocado Toast Diaries. Part I.

If I spent the first 35 years of my life missing out on the joys of avocado toast, I've spent the past 5 years making up for lost time.  In my perfect world, I like it lumpy, spicy and topped with feta and an egg.  Today's post features my neighborhood favorite, Bluestone Lane.  This Aussie-run cafe is a favorite of Sarah Jessica Parker (multiple friends have seen her there...swoon) and serves some of the best avo toast that I've ever had.  Get there early or try for a weekday - the wait can take a bit and they don't take reservations.  Also don't arrive hangry.  It's a hand-crafted experience with a small team and kitchen - these things take time.  

Pro tip: there is a "secret" back room that is more intimate and less crowded than the front area.
